Image Compression and Recovery using Compressive Sampling and Particle Swarm Reddy B. Nithin1, Tadisetty Srinivasulu2 1Center for Development of Telematics (CDOT), Bangalore. nithin0423@gmail.com 2Guru Nanak Institute of Technology, Hyderabad Online published on 27 June, 2017. Abstract Compressive sampling allows perfect recovery of sparse signals using only a small number of random measurements. Particle Swarm Optimization is a novel method for sparse signal recovery. In this work, images are compressed with compressive sampling, and then reconstructed with particle swarm techniques. Techniques specially for reconstructing sparse image data are studied and their performance is evaluated. Top Keywords Particle Swann Optimization, Compressive sampling, Redrop method, OMP initialization, Guided method. Top | |
