Online Published on 06 February, 2023. Abstract The present study examined the economics of vermicompost production of Gothan established under the Gothan and Godhan Nyay Scheme in Chhattisgarh. The study was based on primary data; conducted in three districts of Chhattisgarh plains, viz. Bilaspur, Janjgir-Champa and Raigarh. Criteria of Gothan selection were as follows; Model Gothan, Non-model Gothan, village Gothan and city Gothan. The results revealed that Model Gothan's Cost of production was lower as compared to Non-model, village and city Gothan.
