Abstract The FPO's major operations will include the supply of seed, fertilizer and machinery, market linkages, training and networking and financial and technical advice Under the scheme, the formation and promotion of FPO is based on Produce Cluster Area approach and specialized commodity based approach. This study was conducted in Farmers Producer organizations constituted by the NABARD, SFAC and CBBOs for commodity based income generation to the farmers of Jabalpur district. They study was conducted in purposively selected district of Jabalpur. Out of them 6 FPOs and 20 respondents were selected in each FPOs for the purpose of study. Hence 120 respondents were selected by random sampling. The study revealed that the members of organization (FPO) having high level of favorable attitudes medium and high level of credibility but conflictness is relatively high. Hence for the smooth functioning of FPOs it is necessary to reduce conflict percentage among the members. Further to increase the adoption level of agricultural technologies the members further required awareness, training and skill development programme in this regard. The constraints in smooth running of organizations are involvement of member in other activities as well as non payment of share capital properly may be minimize with the increasing of share profit of FPO.
