Abstract Electron-impact total ionization cross sections of three molecules boronfluoride, borondifluoride, and trifluoride have been calculated by applying theoretical Khare BEB method [Khare et. al. J Phys B 1999] for kinetic energy range of electron from threshold ionization to 10 MeV. This method requires only three molecular orbital constants binding energies, average kinetic energies, and occupation numbers. The present calculations have been compared with available experimental data and other theoretical cross sections. The calculated cross sections are in better agreement with the experimental data.
