Online published on 13 December, 2018. Abstract Road Traffic Accidents constitute the leading cause of unnatural deaths. This study was conducted with an objective to determine patterns of bony, visceral and organ injuries in fatal road traffic accidents brought for medico legal autopsy at tertiary teaching hospital in South India. The cases were commonly seen in age group 41–50 years and in males. Skull and brain was the most common skeletal and organ injured respectively.
