Abstract One hundred and thirty four railway accidents were studied over the period of 5 years between 2013 to 2017 from the autopsy done in the mortuary of VIMS, Bellary, Karnataka, India. Out of the 134 cases of railway accidents 92 cases were male and 42 were female. The majority of cases were in the 25 to 45 years age group. The manner of death was mostly suicidal of which 81 were males and 37 were females. Decapitation was the most common injury seen. Top Keywords Railway accidents, Autopsy, Manner of death. Top |
