Abstract Objectives Aims of the present study were to determine self-reported perceptions toward physical activity and sedentary healthy behaviors among the students. A descriptive analytic design was conducted on a (purposive sample) (250) students at University of Babylon, college of Nursing, A questionnaire has been used as a tool of data collection for the period from January.2017-June 2018 it consists of four parts;including: Part one: Sociodemographic characteristics, Physical activities domain related to students’ self-report the physical activities and healthy behavior. A descriptive and inferential statistical analyses are used to analyze the data. This study showed that the majority of sample ages (94%) were within age group (19–23) years. (62%) of them were male, and most of them (54%) in grade (4) (60%) of the students were often do engage in physical activity and (62%) of the participants did out sports, (38%) declared that Physical activity improve their health, (38%) of them found that sports are important to physical appearance.
