Role Conflict and Teacher Attitude

Abstract

Purpose of the present study was to examine the influence of role conflict on teaching attitude of higher secondary teacher respondents. Sample consisted of 60 male and female respondents from different higher secondary schools of Azamgarh city. Teacher Role Conflict Inventory (Prasad &Bhushan) and Teacher Attitude Inventory (Ahluwalia) were administered on respondents. Results indicated that teachers belonging to Low Role Conflict Group showed higher mean scores than the teacher respondents of High Role Conflict Group. Obtained mean difference was found statistically significant at respectable level of significance.
