Life Satisfaction and Burnout

Abstract

The present study was undertaken to see the effect of life satisfaction on burnout tendency of higher secondary teacher respondents within the age range of 30 to 45 years. A sample of 60 teacher respondents equally divided into sex, and randomly selected for research on administration Alam & Srivastava's Life Satisfaction Scale and Hatwal's Burnout Inventory were used as tools Results showed that teachers experiencing high life satisfaction were found having comparatively less burnout. Further, the results of ‘t ’test show significant difference at respectable level of significance.
