Abstract

The new paragon in health care industry is minimally invasive procedures. These innovative techniques are being used to perform heart bypasses to gall bladder removal. Dentistry is also a part of this exciting revolution. Minimally invasive dentistry is a conviction that combines prevention, remineralization, and minimal intervention for placing and replacing a restoration. Minimally invasive dentistry achieves the treatment goal by utilising the least invasive surgical approach and removing as little healthy tissue as possible. This paper provides an overview of the concept of minimal invasive dentistry in a lapidary manner.
