Implants have changed tremendously more than any other upheaval in dentistry. Implant means restoring function, aesthetics, and providing automation. For the successful implant therapy, making a proper treatment plan considering both surgical and prosthetic part in mind is the key of successful outcome. Often practitioners tend to make a treatment plan overlooking the basic principles of prosthetic part. Implants are therefore a crucial component of the overall prosthetic treatment, which includes social, functional, and aesthetic rehabilitation. The purpose of prosthetic treatment is determined by the patient’s functional status and level of urgency. The viability of implants and prosthesis, their effect on physiological and psychological status, the impact of dental health on quality of life, and the initial and ongoing costs of treatment are all considered treatment outcomes in implant prosthodontics. To reconstruct the edentulous jaw, a range of prosthetic options are available, and more recently, specialized techniques including computer guided planning and CAD-CAM technologies have been created. These ought to make prostheses fit more consistently and obediently. This present review has discussed various prosthetic consideration of implants and its related complications.
