A ‘Green Library’ or ‘Sustainable Library’ is a modern library that uses environmentally friendly building materials, maximizes the use of natural resources, reduces waste, maximizes the use of renewable resources, and conducts its operations more cost-effectively and efficiently. The library environment encompasses not only its physical factors - the space, the layout, lighting, accommodation, furniture, and visual aspects such as posters and displays -but also its ethos and atmosphere. Green Library is Eco-friendly and sustainable for our health.
