Online published on 16 May, 2017. Abstract The aim of this paper is to study the use of library OPAC in PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh (India). This investigation applied standard survey method of the structured questionnaire to collect the data from the users using OPAC. A sample of 176 users including undergraduate students, postgraduate students and research scholars was taken. The study reveals that there is a growing trend towards the use of Library OPAC as a useful tool for searching the library collection but only a few users are making use of other facilities available in OPAC such as to enquire whether the particular document is already issued or not; or to make proper use of advanced search feature of the OPAC.
