A study on dry matter partitioning as influenced by different nutritional sources carrying organic fertilizers and biofertilizers was carried out during 2013-15 in papaya grown on red soil. The maximum fresh weight (20246.76 g/plant) and dry weight (2896.58g/plant) of whole plant were recorded with application of 50% RDF (Recommended Doses of Fertilizers) plus 50% RDN (Recommended Doses of Nitrogen) through vermicompost andbio-fertilizers, displaying further on par involving application of 50% RDF along with 50% RDN through FYM(Farmyard Manure) andbiofertilizers(20028.26g /plant). However, the lowest fresh weight of whole plant (18207.05 g/plant) was observe with treatment of 100% RDF alone and the minimum dry weight (2547.05g/plant) registered with application of 50% RDF combined with 25% RDN through vermicompost alone. The analysis on drymatter partitioning further showed that higher dry matter accumulated with application of 50% RDF plus 50% RDN through vermicompost and bio-fertilizers, translating into other cascading response on parameters like high fresh and dry weights of roots, stem, leaves, petiole, flowers and fruit weight.
