Abstract This study examine the risky sexual practices of male migrant workers by type of locations such as visiting red-light areas, non red-light areas and sexual relations with other women (non-commercial sex worker/co-worker). This study is based on quantitative interviews of 300 male migrants who came to Mumbai from Andhra Pradesh. Each of three categories never married-100, married but not staying with family-100 and staying with family-100 samples was collected through structured questionnaire. Descriptive statistics and bivariate technique used for the study. Finding shows that visiting red-light areas for sexual relations is higher in the younger age group. Sexual relations with other women (Non-CSW) in the age group 26–35 years is 24 percent whereas age group lees than 25 years and more than 36 years of migrants reported less sexual relation with other women. Educational status of the migrants seems to be playing lesser negative role with their risky sexual behaviour. Hence finding reveals that there is need more comprehensive knowledge and programs about sexual and reproductive health consequences among male migrant.
