Abstract

Pathogenic studies on brinjal (PPL) indicated that presence of ten thousand larvae of M. incognita/plant at the time of transplanting is highly pathogenic to the crop and significantly reduce the plant growth and increases multiplication of nematode population. Light infestation of ten and hundred larvae per platn was found to increase plant growth. The nematode multiplication rate was higher at such lower larval population.
