Abstract

Pyogenic granuloma is one of the inflammatory hyperplasias seen more commonly in the oral cavity. There are two histological types of pyogenic granuloma namely, lobular capillary haemangioma (LCH type) and nonlobular capillary haemangioma (non-LCH type). Cellular capillary haemangioma is the term given to that variant of lobular capillary haemangioma in which the boundaries between adjacent lobules are indistinct and the lumina formed by constituent endothelial cells are extremely small.
