Abstract During the last quarter of a century the character of play Volleyball has changed dramatically, not because of rule modifications but mainly due to the introduction of new lactical concepts and better motor development qualities. Today players ’require great speed of reaction, anticipation, superior concentration as well as exceptional space orientation and motor adjustment. The role of Libero and Setter are totally different, during playing Volleyball. But the components which make them physicatly fit or enable them to become a elite performer in the competition are quite similar in respect of agility, explosive leg power, reaction time, strength, endurance, kinesthetic perception, orientation ability etc. This has made the researcher to compare the explosive legpower and agility between Libero and Setter. For the purpose of the study only the male stale level Volleyball players mainly 10 Libero and 10 Setter were selected purposively from different Universities and Clubs in West Bengal. The age of the state level volley ball player was ranged between 19 to 27 years. To findout the results of this study, the research scholar hadapplied ‘t ’ratio at O. 05 Level of significance. The findings of the present study showed that there was no significant difference on Explosive Leg Power.
