Online published on 31 March, 2020. Abstract Immune-mediated diseases are some of the diseases that affect the patient's quality of daily life due to their chronic nature. Of which most of them are mucocutaneous diseases and they involve the oral cavity. The treatment of these diseases is oftentimes challenging due to their immunological nature, comorbidity, frequent relapses and long term use of medications and their complications. Immunomodulators are the most rapidly developing current trend. They are used quite often for a large number of these diseases.
