Lipoxins are lipoxygenase derived eicosanoids and are generated from arachidonic acid. They are highly potent, possessing biologic activity at very low concentration, and inhibit neutrophil recruitment, chemotaxis, and adhesion. Top Keywords Lipoxin, anti-inflammatory, resolution of inflammation, anti-fibrotic, leukocytes, mesangial cells. Top |
