Association between Two Different Methods for Determining Facial Types in Iraqi adults Ahmed Haider M. A. Department of Orthodontics, College of Dentistry, University of Baghdad, Iraq Online published on 30 April, 2019. Abstract This study is aimed to determine the association between two different methods for determining the facial types in a sample of Iraqi adults with normal class I dental and skeletal relations. Eighty dental students (33 males and 47 females) agreed and signed a consent form to participate in this study. Standardized frontal and profile photographs were taken for each student then analyzed using AutoCAD program (2016). Facial types were determined using two different methods, facial index method and facial taper angel method. Association between these two methods was determined by Chi-square test.
