Online published on 4 June, 2019. Abstract Diabetic patients awareness and attitudes toward their heightened risk for oral diseases is very much essential to overcome the same. Hence the present study was conducted to explore the knowledge and awareness. Methodology A close ended questionnaire study was done to assess the knowledge, attitude & practice regarding oral health among 150 diabetic & non diabetic study subjects. Results There was statistically significant difference was noted among diabetic in many areas of knowledge, attitude & practice related to oral health. Conclusion Though knowledge was comparatively good among diabetic subjects, there were lacunae in attitude & practice. Hence continuous educational programs are recommended.
