Healthcare Providers Views on Husband-Participation in Maternal Healthcare Gyanvati Research Scholar, Department of Social Work, University of Delhi Online published on 1 November, 2018. Abstract This research paper analyzes the healthcare providers’ views on husband-participation in maternal healthcare services. This paper divided into three sections. Firstly, the paper looks into roles and responsibilities of health care providers (doctors, ANMs and ASHA workers) in maternal healthcare services. Secondly, the health providers’ views on husband-participation in maternal healthcare. Lastly, the paper concludes and suggests by emphasizing the significance of improving the husband-participation in maternal healthcare of their wives and newborn child.
