Abstract The research aims to know the effect of teaching the material of reading and texts by using the two strategies of (Slap & CSR) on the expressional performance of 2nd intermediate grade student, researcher has created a zero hypothesis compatible for research, and chooses a compatible experimental design, she compared between the two group of research, then specifed subjects that she would discuss during time of experiment, she also created behavioral goals and prepared teaching plans appropriate for requirements of research, she chose Al-Rubaie criteria that consists of four spaces with extreme degree of (100) and made sure of it's credibility and truth, and applied the dimensional choice, and showed results of exceeding the two experimental groups of research against the controlling group in expressional performance.
