Abstract

Introduction

the role of abdominals apart from its many anatomical functions is not well understood yet. this study result of abdominal weakness to be associated with hypertension and diabetes remains an eyeopener concept in the current health status.

Aims

To find out prevalence of hypertension and diabetes with poor abdominal strength.

Objectives

To find out prevalence of hypertension and diabetes with poor abdominal strength between the age 45–55 years.

Procedure

Prior starting the study, a written consent form was signed and taken from subjects in language best understood by them. The participants will be explained about abdominal strength testing and then the test will be performed. Onetime assessment was made of their body mass index, west hip ratio and abdominal strength.

Conclusion

The conclusion of this study shows that 71% of the total population recruited in the study suffered abdominal weakness.
