Online published on 28 September, 2015. Abstract Objective To study the effects of bladder training with pelvic floor muscle exercise for urinary stress incontinence in post partum period. Method The study was carried out on 30 subjects with age group of 20 to 35 years and were grouped by randomized trial method into control group(n=A) and experimental group(n=B), Control group (n=A)were treated with bladder training programme, while experimental group(n=B) were treated with bladder training programme and pelvic floor exercises for 8 weeks. The assessment was done by MMT, VAS and IIQ. Result The experimental group B had a significant decrease in urinary stress incontinence episodes and increase pelvic floor muscle strength to large extent in comparison to control group. Conclusion Pelvic floor muscle training with bladder training is more effective to reduce stress urinary incontinence in comparison to bladder training alone.
