Postnatal development of spleen in White Pekin duck was studied using 45 male ducks of day-old to 155 days of age. Body weight and the weight, length and width of spleen were measured. Increase in spleen weight WDS in accordance with the growth of the bird until 80 days of age. It almost doubled from 80 days to 110 days of ageanda maximum weight of 1.1 g was attained at 110 days of ageand thereafter a decline in the weight was noticed. The highest speen weight to body weight (0.12%) occurred at 20 days of age. Size and weight of spleen were significantly correlated with the age and body weight.
