Study of the effect of leadership styles with the mediator role of perceived organizational policies on the job satisfaction in Telecommunications Infrastructure Company

Abstract

The present study aims to investigate the effect of leadership styles on job satisfaction and mediator role of perceived organizational policies in Telecommunications Infrastructure Company. Hence, it is an applied research with respect to the objective and a descriptive study with respect to the method. Population of study consists of all staffs of Telecommunications Infrastructure Company at Tehran, equal to 500 persons, of which 300 persons were selected based on simple random sampling and Cochrane formula as the sample. The data was collected using researcher-made questionnaire. Summary of results indicate that the developmental and transactional leadership styles have positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. In addition, the effect of mediator (perceived organizational policies) on the job satisfaction in Telecommunications Infrastructure Company is also significantly accepted.
