Abstract In this article we apply the EFQM Excellence Model to AROMA – a company located in Poland which specializes in producing flavored tea mixtures. Three methods have been used to gather data necessary for achieving the goal – observation, interview with the head manager and survey. First, initial information about the company was gather from its website. Then there was an interview with the head manager in order to learn about major areas of his business. Finally, the researcher prepared a questionnaire to measure the business excellence of AROMA. The questionnaire was completed by the head manager and, independently, by the researcher – in accordance with the EFQM method. Detailed analysis of the research results is presented in this article along with proposals for the company that can improve its performance.
