Abstract The study examines the association between parents’ education level and parental engagement in their children's education among government schools in Haryana (India). Parental engagement in this study focuses on the association approaches implemented by the parents’ in their children's education at house and at school. Results of the study recommend that there are no considerable differences between parents’ education level and most of the parents’ association approaches in their children's education. The cultural similarity among the parents’ that tightens the bondage of the culture within the school ambience and the importance given to education are appears to be the major reason for their association.
