Before funduscopy, the pupils were dilated with 1% Tropicamide. At first the fundus appeared dull and uniform grey brown and the tapetal and non-tapetal fundus were not differentiated. The optic disc was small and the blood vessels were relatively wide. At two months, the area developed into tapetal and non-tapetal area with homogenous blue colouration of entire fundus. When the pup was three months old, the tapetal fundus was much brighter. over the following months, it became more granular and bluish. After this, at four months, the fundus got its permanent colour. Top Keywords Development, fundus, neonatal, non-tapetal, tapetal. Top |
