Online published on 26 July, 2017. Abstract A male German shepherd dog was presented with traumatic laceration of the lateral canthus of left eye. The laceration was so deep and wide, exposing much of the eyeball tunic. Following thorough cleaning with diluted Povidone iodine solution and under general anaesthesia, the lateral canthus was reconstructed to normal appearance and function.
