Clinical Management of Infectious Bovine Keratoconjunctivitis in a Cow

Abstract

A female Holstein Friesian crossbred cow was presented with clinical signs of epiphora, conjunctivitis and corneal ulceration with purulent ocular discharge. The condition was tentatively diagnosed as infectious keratoconjunctivitis. The cattle were treated with antibiotic, anti-inflammatory drugs and Vitamin A. The signs of conjunctivitis and corneal ulcers of eye had substantially reduced in seven days of treatment and vision restoration was observed after fourteen days.
