Abstract

Two adult pug females were presented with signs of dry eroded cornea with opacity. Physical examination revealed blepharospasm, epiphora, photophobia and presence of corneal ulceration with involvement of deeper layers. Both the animals were given autologous serum therapy along with Gatifloxacin and Flurbiprofen eye drops. The therapy was continued for two weeks and by 15th day, the animals showed almost complete recovery with absence of epiphora and smoothing of corneal surface.
