Management of Ocular Setariasis in a Pony

Abstract

A male pony was presented with history of vision loss in right eye since ten days. Examination revealed a live worm in anterior chamber of eye. The worm was removed under general anesthesia by needle paracentesis and identified as Setaria spp. The animal recovered uneventfully after 20 days.
