Abstract Oesophageal diverticulum was diagnosed on clinical examination and contrast radiography in buffalo heifer presented with history of anorexia, salivation, difficulty in swallowing, regurgitation, absence of defecation and swelling at ventro-lateral aspect of middle cervical region. Treatment consisted of surgical correction of diverticulum, feed and post-operative management. The animal recovered uneventfully.
