Online published on 18 April, 2018. Abstract A heifer was presented with swelling at right thoracic region since last one week. Clinical examination and palpation of swelling revealed painless, reducible and rent in between 10th and 11th ribs. It was diagnosed as intercostal hernia and herniorrhaphy was performed under sedation with local analgesia. Post-operatively, animal made an uneventful recovery.
