Abstract

Five calves were presented with clinical signs like bloat, distended abdomen, passing drop by drop urine to anuria, kicking at abdomen, restlessness and off fed. All calves were diagnosed as obstructive urolithiasis conditions based on transabdominal and transrectal ultrasonographic examinations. They were treated surgically by tube cystotomy procedure with Foleys catheter and medically by antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs and urinary alkalinizers. All animals recovered uneventfully.
