Medicinal management was not able to alleviate the symptoms. Lateral and ventro-dorsal radiographs of cervical and thoracic region were able to establish presence of a hollow cylindrical foreign body in mid cervical region. Positional manipulations were not able to retrieve the obstructed foreign body. Endoscopically a cylindrical plastic foreign body was visualised in trachea at the level of C2-C3 cervical vertebral process.
