Vocalization and stranguria were observed during urinal attempts. Radiograph of caudal abdomen revealed presence of radiodense uroliths in distal sigmoid flexure. Under sedation, tube cystostomy was performed. Post-operative care and flushing of catheter was undertaken using Ammonium chloride. Clamping of catheter for thirty minutes after five days of surgery showed dribbling of urine from urethra. Two weeks post-operatively, urine started flowing through urethra normally, hence catheter was removed. Animal recovered uneventfully.
