Abstract

The case report describes and evaluates the anesthetic management provided to a canine patient with congestive heart failure. Thorough pre-operative assessment of the patient's clinical condition and concurrent medication is an important consideration to enable an appropriate anesthetic protocol to be implemented. After using proper anesthesia, the animal recovered well and was cured in 15 days.
