Abstract A field experiment was conducted at experimental farm Oilseed Research Station, Latur (M.H) during rabi season 2021-22 with a view to study the “Effect of foliar application of nano-N fertilizer on growth yield, and quality of linseed (Linum usitatissimum L.)”. The experiment was conducted in randomized block design with eight treatments and three replications. Results revealed that treatment T7-50 per cent N (RDN) and 100 per cent P and K through soil + two foliar sprays of 0.4 per cent nano-Nat 20 and 40 DAS recorded the highest nutrient uptake by seed and straw, available NPK and quality parameters viz, oil content, protein content and test weight and grain yield and straw yield of linseed, which was significantly superior over all the treatments but was at par with treatment T8-25 per cent N (RDN) and 100 per cent P and K + three spray of 0.4 per cent nano-N at 20, 40 and 60 DAS. Top Keywords Nano nitrogen, Available NPK, Total uptake, Linseed, Yield and quality. Top |
