Abstract Debt management and the Study of Non-Performing Assets not only show the financial efficiency of Bank but also its creditworthiness, which has gained importance in these days of credit squeeze. Therefore, study of the Non-Performing Assets management is very necessary. Objective of this research is to assess the actual position of NPA in Pune District Central Co-Operative Bank Ltd, Pune. So, this study intends to comprehensively evaluate the Gross NPAs, provision for NPA, Net NPA etc. The study also aims to improve the recovery procedure for help to reduce NPA of the bank. Descriptive research design method is adopted for this study. The required information was collected through secondary sources. Secondary data were collected from various sources including the annual reports of the bank for the year 2016–2017, 2017–2018, 2018–2019, 2019- 2020 and 2020–2021. Ratio analysis is the major tool for analyzing the Non-Performing Assets of the Pune District Central Cooperative Bank Ltd, Pune. And also, the Information for 5 Years is collected. The present study leads to the conclusion that though funds mobilization is done by Pune District Central Cooperative Bank, sufficient attention is not given for efficient utilization of these funds.
