Larger structures were calcified cysts containing a partially calcified cysticercus with an evaginated scolex. The morphology of rostellar hooks matched with both Taenia hydatigena and T. hyaenae. However, molecular techniques identified the bladderworms as Cysticercus tenuicollis. Top Keywords Camelus dromedarius, cysticercus tenuicollis, liver cysticercosis, United Arab Emirates. Top |
