Abstract

Rural broadcasting for farm women is a popular and an effective media of communication while greater efforts need to be directed towards increasing listening habits among women clientele. Where individual sets are not available one working set should be made in mahila mandal, anganwadis or panchayats for group listening. If radio listening is followed by discussion by extension field functionaries and members of the listening group this can lead, to higher understanding and retention of the message and clarification of doubts.
