Abstract

The outreach of mass media among rural community is poor primarily due to low level of literacy and income. There is, therefore, a need for not only intensifying adult literacy activities for villagers particular by women, but also to establish community centres for women. But also to establish community centres for radio listening, T.V. viewing (wherever possible) and communication through other audio-visual aids with the help of village volunteers.
