It is no longer a fantasy and we are already using AI systems in our routine life. Its applications in the practice of medicine has shown promising results and it may be not long before we see its use in our day to day clinical practice. This article focuses on a brief introduction to AI and its applications in health and medicine, how its being used in various specialities medicine. The possible ethical issues and ways to address it have also been discussed at the end.
