AI deals with developing self-learning computer technologies which can mimic the functioning of human brain. The quick, effective and efficient nature of these applications leads to their wide usage in education, diagnostic and clinical aspects of modern dental practice. This article highlights the basic concepts of AI and Machine Learning, with some of the applications in the current digital dental era.
