Effect of Azospirillum on growth and yield parameters of coriander (Coriandrum sativum L.) Singh S.P. AICRP on Spices, Department of Horticulture, Tirhut College of Agriculture, Dholi, RAU, Pusa, Bihar, India Online published on 30 November, 2019. Abstract Experiments were conducted to find out effect of biofertilizer on growth and yield of coriander at Department of Horticulture, Tirhut College of Agriculture, Dholi, RAU, Pusa during 2007–2010. The combination treatment of RDF (100% N) + Azospirillum (15 kg ha−1) + FYM (5 t ha−1) gave maximum plant height (144.62 cm), number of branches (8.28 plant−1), number of umbels (72.03 plant−1), number of umbellets (6.76 umbel−1), number of grains (54.64 umbel−1) and yield (2.18 t ha−1). Benefit cost ratio was 1.94 and the net profit was Rs. 31600 ha−1. The next effective treatments was soil application of RDF (75% N) + Azospirillum (15 kg ha−1) + FYM (5 t ha−1).
