Abstract The present study on the “Effect of integrated nutrient management on flowering, postharvest life and xanthophyll content of African marigold (Tagetes erecta L.) cv. Pusa Basanti Gainda” was conducted during 2021-2022 at the College of Agriculture, Central Agricultural University, Imphal with seven treatments and three replications. The minimum first flower appearance and flower longevity on the plant were recorded in the treatment with the application of 75% RDF + vermicompost (1.25 t ha−1) (T4). The diameter of the flower (cm) and weight of the individual flower (g) was maximum when 75% RDF + FYM (7.5 t ha−1) (T2) was applied.
